hi eric. i am watching the penguins right now. this is fantastic. there is a guy in a creepy red jumpsuit like in that movie city of lost children (except their's were yellow) and he is greeting the penguins individually and sweeping their environment and now spraying it down. he has to wear a mask; must be stinky in there!

Hey Eric -
I dont know you at all, but I was referred to this site by your cousin Mike's old man. I'm definately diggin the music. We actually are working on a company together, and Mike happens to be our Graphic Designer.
My other partners spin records, mostly acid-jazz and downtempo, some really funky stuff.
Anyways, if there ever comes a point in time you are back in Buffalo, I'd love to meet up and go over some of our music, plus what Mike has done for us.
Cheers,
Rory O.

hola biondo,
i could not agree more about luke and jordan. it's so interesting how they express their kindness in such different ways. one of my greatest pleasures in life is to give. however, when i really want to show my love, i let the other person look deeply into my eyes. i allow myself to be vulnerable (just a bit). and when it's a romantic kind of love, i whisper how good they taste, not in a sexual context but more a visceral response. i'm most always surprised at whom i am attracted to in my life. i have an indian friend and i just told her, "i love you" for the first time in ten years of friendship. soft emotions, it's just not something my culture allows too much. however, i tell my children i'm in love with them all the time. i believe we are all mirrors to each other. when i love myself and treat myself with tenderness and respect... you will love yourself. and then we get to love one another. causal law. that being said, " i love you." 'all you need is love... LOVE... love is all you need.'

Hi Eric, I wish I could have made it to the Hothouse--couldn't find anyone willing to act like my legal gaurdian or parent...so I was pretty well screwed on that. Are there any pictures from the show that you know of floating around someplace? I'd really like to see some. Maybe catch you when you come back into town the next time. Take care!

Naming addictions aren't as hard as some people try to make them seem. There's so many of them, here's some of mine: Food, music, movies, the sweets that kill your teeth, the romance that breaks your heart, and the pain you somehow keep looking for, whether you mean to or not.

blonde one,
i believe people may experience deep, profound change as individuals. i just don't know if a million others are experiencing it at the same time. however, if we are all universally connected and we (humans) are the universe expressing it's own consciousness... then huge change must be happening in en masse all over our world. i also believe that real change needs to be exercised and put into practice as often as possible. this allows the changed one to no longer fear the foreign emotions, that they now recognize in themselves. i believe people can blossom and shine and love. for those who don't change, that's okay too, cause the world will change them. it will wake you up and you will see that you were actually sleeping all this time. i know this to be true. i believe the earth is reacting to the abuse we inflict upon her. in return, she shifts and turns and cries. what i can't understand is why natural diseasters seem to haunt already long suffering populations. perhaps those that die are delivered from the hell we create here on earth, i don't know. we have today and one another.

Hey Eric! Wow, you guys are gonna be in Chicago?! Rock on! My friends went and saw you when you where here last year, I couldn't go, I had classes. Hey, I was just curious, is this gig a 21 and over or no? I'm 20 so it'd really piss me off if it was and I can't get in yet. I noticed it's not listed as 21 and over on your concert page or on Antibalas's page, but I saw that it was on Hothouse's page. I'm soooooooooo confused. Gimme a buzz back and let me know? Ok? Thanks.

i like to party naked but i think i'm getting a little too old for it. besides, i'm catholic which in essence means i do everything... i just do it with the lights off. even when my buddy is hot to trot, i still like the lights off or dimmed rather. red bulbs are better than candles. lately my buddy is wheatgrass and ginger shots and egg whites and seafood, and delicious roasted baby beets, yummmmmmy! so 'jitterbug perfume.' you know, they say digestion problems may also stem from being unable to release an emotion or belief that is working against you. sophisticated stuff. one time i was arguing with dylan about the porn star diet and it turns out i was right- pornstars DO eat alot of peaches and pineapples. i only eat bananas because they are phallic. i've also been drinking these chinese herb concoctions my acupuncturist made for me. sophisticated stuff. i'm glad you are home biondo!
and now for stupid cheesy lyrics:
'Computer love {Computer, computer love}
Computer love {Lookin for my computer love}
Computer love {Hey}
Computer love {Computer love}
You know Ive been searching for someone
Who can share that special love with me
And your eyes have that glow
Could it be your face I see on my computer screen'
I ACTUALLY DIG THIS SONG BUT I MUST CALL A SPADE A SPADE. IMPLICITLY STUPID ASS LYRICS.

oh my god addictions. which would you like first? shopping/. i'm ashamed that a material good can sometimes make me feel so GOOD! how about sweets? i figure fuck it, i have to walk it off any way. or live music. the delicate balance of playing sweetheart and nomad. and love all at the same time. i'm fired. how about being an expensive bottle blonde? i know nothing else anymore. two chickies try to samba next to me... they fail miserably. not because i'm so intuitive... which i am. but because they lack love. addictions to love. whole other post. still i whisper, come here baby. last but not least addicted to drink '... a 40 oz. to freedom is the only chance i have to feel good before i feel bad'.

I wanna apologize profusely for the comment I left for you, and tell you that it did bring a smile to my face when I read Sam's name in your comedy section. *sighs* I just thought I'd inform you as to why I spoke up for him the way I did--I have the biggest crush on him that I may ever have on anyone in my life, and I just like to see more about him. Sorry about taking it out on you, though, Eric. *sigh* sowwy. Hope you forgive me!

I enjoyed looking at your website and laughed at your humor. You really know how to get someone laughing! I was at your Antibalas concert last night. You played in Sedona, Arizona. I am the that talked to you and the percussionist(?) after the show. I was with my aunty. I realy enjoyed your show and thought you were a really friendly person. Thank you for coming out and playing for us. You guys are deffinetly one of the best bands we have had in a long time. I loved dancing to your music. My whole being seemed to be lifted. I have been feeling rather sad lately about what's going on in the world, etc., but Antibalas' music really uplifted me. Thank you. My name is DeleVan. It means from the seed of Van, or from the clan of Van. Van was once a mighty spiritual warrior, who saved many people. I was named DeleVan because my mother and father always saw me as a strong soul, like Van. My name when i was born was Sonta-an. Sonta-an means loved by the Universe Mother Spirit. They changed my name because i wanted to change it. I liked Sonta-an, and i still go by that name sometimes, but i DeleVan seems to fit who i am. I share this because people are always asking about my name, so to save you a question i just told you. I am a musician too. I am singer, guitar player and keyboardist. My passion is singing. When i sing i feel free. Singing and dacing are very alike to me. When you sing you are freeing something from inside of you. When you are dancing you are freeing something from within but also from the outer part of you- your outer pain. The pain that you show externally. Anyway, that's all for now. I have a seminar to go to! Love, DeleVan DellErba

i ate some great jamaican food last night. jerk shrimp. i ate the whole plate too. must have been five pounds of food. i almost o.d'd on plantains and rice. my poopie felt good in the morning although my stomach's been weird all day. i ate a bunch of pistachios but i found out nuts aren't good if your stomach's upset. i also took an alergy pill when i didn't need to. it's time released so every couple of hours my nose feels hollow and like it's going to fall off. i was told to stick vaseline up my nose but i hate sticking liquid or anything gooey up my nose. i already have enough snot coming out.
